FIVE

Hope that you guys had a GREAT weekend! Ours was FULL of running a million errands, grocery shopping, cleaning house, organizing AND laundry! This is what  all of my weekends consist of now that I work AND go to school WOO HOO!!

We did have a little fun Friday night, we had dinner at FIVE with my sissy!

If you are even CLOSE to Tuscaloosa and you have not eaten here you are missing OUT! Is is DELISH! We have been several times and we LOVE it! They also have a new menu item, that I ate  called Asian chicken and it was SO YUMMY!

 

 After we had dinner we headed downtown for drinks!

OHH and I forgot to mention that on Saturday evening I had my very first test in Psychology.. annnd I MADE an A !!!!

It's OK....

....That it has been raining since the time I opened my eyes this morning!

....That I didn't get to workout last night because I had class until 9:00!

...That I worked from 8:00-5:00 BEFORE attending class from 6:00-9:00! YES you heard that right!

....That my dog WILL NOT go outside in the rain.. she can hold her "tee-tee" until the rain is GONE!

....That I have an online Psychology test that I need to take and have NO clue what it is about?

....That I will probably miss Jersey Shore tonight because I am POOPED and ready for bed NOW!

.... That my finger nail polish has been chipping for a few days but I have NO extra time to paint them!

....That my abs are STILL sore from my Monday workout!!

Boat Show

Good Morning y'all!!

We had a fabulous weekend! Friday would have been my Mom's Birthday, so Brandon was an ANGEL and sent me these!

On Saturday we headed out to the BOAT SHOW! We just recently bought our very first home and the neighborhood is on the Black Warrior River so we NEED a boat for SUMMER TIME! :)

We didn't buy one BUT we are still in the market for one!

Saturday night, Brandon's sweet Maw Maw & Aunt came up to visit us! We cooked some DELISH steak, salad, and baked potatos!!YUM! And the rest of the weekend was pretty low-key!

Birthday wishes to Heaven!

My post today is dedicated to my Mama who is in Heaven and today is her Birthday. Happy Birthday Mama!!

 ( I apologoze for the "pictures of pictures" but my scanner is insane today!)

This was her in the 2nd grade-she is the 6th little girl on the bottom row with the beautiful blonde curls!

She was Ms. Parrish High School her Junior year!

 And this was the exact way that I remember her-this was taken at my 6th grade graduation!

There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about her or think about what she would want for me and Jess. She was the most sensitive kind hearted person that I have ever known. I think that is why God took her, I think she really was TOO senstitive for this world!

She would have been 48 years old today... seems so very young!

Weekend Wrap UP

Happy Tuesday bloggy peeps! Hope you guys had a great weekend! I was so very sad to see it end! We had a FUN filled weekend with Brandon's family! His entire family was home this weekend so we made the 2 hour trip and joined in. We built a fire and cooked "chitlins"! Disgusting I KNOW! But the boys enjoyed it! Ha! Here is our weekend in pictures!

We had a FABULOUS weekend hanging with the fam jam! Next weekend we are headed to the Boat show! Please pray that we find something that we BOTH love! :) Hope you guys had a GREAT weekend!

Oh and one more thing before I go! I was introduced to this skin care line this weekend! It is called Rodan and Fields! They have a ton of stuff for anti-aging and sun spots!

 It is made by the SAME people who make proactive?!? Anyone ever tried it? I am planning to order it this week, so let me know if you have any pros or cons about it! This girl right here is all about PREVENTING wrinkles! I want to be TWENTY-FIVE forever! :)

And ONE more thing... I promise this is IT! My BFF AKA my sister has started a BLOG!!

Random Thought # 1 --

Random Thought #2 --

For those of you who don't own a TV or have been living under a rock.. ALABAMA is playing in the National Championship TONIGHT! :) As you all know, Brandon, my husband played for Alabama and well I have been a DIE hard fan since the day I was brought into this world! I am WAY pumped about this game! I even have my hounds tooth dress on at work today! :0)

Random Thought # 3 --

I start week 2 of the Couch to 5 K thingy TONIGHT (before the game of course)! And I must say that I am a little bit nervous! So y'all say a little prayer for me! :) I must admit that I am LOVING this program so far!!

Random Thought # 4 --

We finished up the second season of Nip/Tuck! So I am dying to order the 3rd season! I think I am going to need a new series to watch once I finish with them all! What is another good TV show that Brandon and I both would enjoy?! Help!!

Random Thought # 5 --

School started back today. I am ONLY taking 2 classes-keep in mind I also work 40+ hours a week! :) My Psychology class is online and I took a peek at it this morning... and its stressing me out ALREADY! Ahhh! Any tips on making an "A" in Psychology would be greatly appreciated!  

Random Thought # 6 --

My husband is OFF work today and I am IN the office! NOT COOL!

3. I am loving all of the goodies that I received in my Stocking from the Stocking Stuffer Swap! My partner was Meghan over at Shine On, and she did an AMAZING job shopping for me!

"J" stickers, notepad, Photo Album, Nail polish, Thank you Cards, Lip Balm, LOTS of Yummy candy (some candy not shown-I blame my 1 year old nephew), and Cocoa Mix!! She did a great job! :) Thanks again Meghan!

4. Last but NOT least, I am LOVING that I ran 2 miles on the treadmill last night! I didn't REALLY make a New Year's resolution but I REALLY want to try to get more FIT & HEALTHY! ..Wish me luck! :)

New Years Eve 2011/2012

Brandon and I had LOTS of time together the last few days! He was off work for 4 days and so was I. This is VERY rare so we had a mini "staycation"! We had planned to go to Gatlinburg BUT decided at the last minute that we would stay home and RELAX! And I must say it was a GREAT decesion!

Friday we had lunch with my sweet Nanny and sissy! Sorry-No Pics! :( BOO! After lunch, I took a few things back that I had received over Christmas and I FINALLY bought a NEW iphone4s!

Saying Goodbye to the old 3! I get SO attached to things! Ha!

I am LOVING the 4s so far! And I am about to die to get this case for it!-

Saturday was a BEAUTIFUL day! We spent the day taking all of the Christmas decorations down, cleaning things out & putting together our brand new swing!

Saturday night we headed out to Chuck's Fish for sushi! This is also the place where we had our FIRST date and got ENGAGED! It is like OUR spot to go when we go out to eat! After dinner, we made our way downtown for drinks and LOTS of dancing! :) Jess, my sissy, met us out (she is a nurse and didn't get off until 11:00) and we all rang in the New Year together! Jess and Brandon are without a doubt my 2 most FAV people so I can not think of another way to spend my New Years!!

Sunday was spent relaxing from our LONG night!

Monday, we took advantage of our last off day together and slept in LATE! I also ran to Victoria Secret for the SEMI-ANNUAL Sale! This is probably one of my MOST favorite SALES ever! I haven't missed one in YEARS & Brandon even tagged along this time! :)

GOT lots of GOOD stuff!!

We spent the rest of the afternoon watching the second season of Nip/Tuck! I know, I know.. I am WAY behind! I watched the first season a few months ago and I LOVE it!

We took a break from Nip/Tuck and ordered some SUSHI from Chuck's! I told y'all this was our SPOT!

And it was DELISH of course! :)
