Ok, so a few weeks ago Lauren over at Cashing in on Life gave me a super sweet award-The Liebster Award! Lauren and I have known each other since elementary school and her blog is just presh so go and follow her NOW! #kthanks

Anywho….not sure why but I am just now getting around to “accepting” this award and nominating NEW people (I apologize in advance if you have already received this award).

Questions form Lauren

1. What habit would you like to be able to break?

Eating out for lunch almost every single day… I haven’t done this in a while (only because I have been on the 24 Day Challenge) but there is just something wonderful about leaving my office at lunch and eating something YUMMY!

2. What is the biggest change you have made in your life in the last year?

Going back to school!! This was HUGE for me because I already have a full time “BIG girl” job so working and going to school has been a huge adjustment!

3. When was the last time you laughed really hard?

Probably one night this week…. Some nights when Brandon and I are getting ready for bed we just talk and laugh hysterically at nothing at all-Stupid I know. But when he gets tickled about something it makes me laugh so hard! HA!

4. What is your favorite smell?

BRANDON and his Polo Black cologne! I also LOVE the smell of fresh cut grass… reminds me of Summer time!

5. If you could have lunch with anyone living or dead, who would it be?

This is easy… my MAMA!!

6. If you could go back in time, what decade would you visit?

I would LOVE to go back to the early 1900’s when women were homemakers and men were the bread winners and more people “lived off the land.” Life seemed to be SO simple back then…. No cell phones or computers!!

7. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?

If you know me at all then you already know the answer to this! J If I wouldn’t gain any weight at all.. I would DEF eat anything fried… Onion Rings, Chicken Fingers, Fried Shrimp mmmmmmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

8. What is your favorite color?

Right now, I am loving gray… but PINK will always be my SIGNATURE color! ;)

9. How many different places have you lived in your life?

Unfortunately, I have been in Tuscaloosa ALL of my life. SAD. I . KNOW. I always dream of moving away… But looks like I will be here for a while!

10. Who is your favorite musician?

This is hard for me…. Hmmmm I love ALL types of music from Gavin Degraw to Katy Perry… Don’t judge but I also LOVE Britney Spears! J

11. If you were stranded on an island and could only bring one item with you what would it be and why?

BLUSH---Because, well, I don’t go ANYWHERE without my blush on! #isthisvein #ilookpasteywithoutit

…….THESE chips. They are amazeballs! My husband introduced these to me a few weeks ago and I am HOOKED! I a may or may not eat these and drink a Mich Ultra a few nights of the week when I get home from work!

 

….THIS beach towel! I have been oooohhiingg and ahhhingg over this towel since LAST Summer! Beach Bunny Swimwear makes it but NOW I can’t find the towel anywhere! I searched online everywhere and NOONE has it! Do you know where I can get one of these?!

 

……THIS bathing suit! I love anything monogrammed!

…..THIS necklace! I must have one of these with my sweet Thera girls nose print on it!

…..THAT I ordered the Advocare 24 Day Challenge yesterday and I am WAY excited to start!

 

….THAT I finally purchased my dress for the Mardi Gras Ball! (Now we just have to get B’s tux)

New Year's Eve

Our New Years Eve was fairly low key-which is just the way I like it! We had dinner at our favorite spot with some great friends, my brother-n-law and my sweet nephew.

After dinner we headed out to hear some live music! The guy who played is actually from Tuscaloosa and is in the process of making it BIG in Nashville!

I couldn't think of any other way to spend New Year’s- great company, great food & great music! What more do ya need?!

Gatlinburg Trip

The day after Christmas the boy and I headed to Gatlinburg to spend some time in the Mountains! We have been together for 3 years and married for 2 years and have NEVER been on a vacation by ourselves! We didn't have a honeymoon because Brandon had just started a new job and had NO time off. Needless to say we were WAY over due for some alone time away from our everyday lives! We had an AMAZING trip! I honestly have to say the BEST part was our cabin and hot tub, staying up late at night, and sleeping in late in the morning. It was SO nice to be able to go to dinner when we wanted or take a nap when we wanted! Our trip included lots of shopping, eating out, several boot stores, Ober Gatlinburg (Snow Park), The Dixie Stampede, a Titanic exhibit and LOTS of other fun adventures! I am hoping that we make this an annual trip!

LATE Christmas Post

Our Christmas started on the 23^rd-The Saturday BEFORE Christmas. Things are ALWAYS a little crazy for us because BOTH of our families are out of town.

We started our Christmas festivities with a lunch at my house for my Aunt and cousins (this is ALL of my Mother’s side of the family that is left-so sad) I always try to make a special day/time for them for Thanksgiving and Christmas because I think it is important for all of us to be together since my Mom and Nana (grandmother) passed away!

I am SUPER lame and didn’t take ANY pics of the fam BUT we were having SO much fun I didn’t even think about snapping any pics!

I found some really cute Christmas game ideas on PINTEREST. I definitely want to keep this a tradition going because it was TONS of fun! I gave away fun prizes which included gift cards to Dip N’ Dots, Dairy Queen, Wendy’s.. Etc…

On Saturday night we had our annual Christmas shin-dig with my Daddy's side of the family... I shamefully do not have a single picture from that night! I know, I know, I am AWFUL!  

Moving on.....

On Sunday we headed to LA... Lower Alabama  that is :) to spend some time with Brandon's family. This was such a fun Christmas because our nephew Grayson is old enough now where he actually knows what is going on, so it was a lot of fun!

All in all it was a great Christmas and I couldn't have imagined spending it with anyone than all the people pictured/mentioned here!

Good Afternoon!! Yes, it has been a while since you have heard from me! But you should be use to that by now! ONE of my New Year’s resolutions is to be a better blogger! We shall see!

We had an amazing Christmas… which I plan to blog about very soon! ;) And we had the most awesome trip to the Mountains which I also plan to blog about! Today I am here to show y’all all my cool new toys that I received from Santa!

The only thing NOT pictured here is my MK watch only because I am still unsure of which one to get! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
